Whatever Happened Yesterday
Or WHY For Short
I took this almost two years ago.
I wasn’t entirely sure why we decided to make the thing we made. We weren’t exactly sure what it was, or what we were capturing. It just so happens to be that there was a bunch of stuff laying around and we decided to use it. Like common. If you have carpet and a standing lamp you’re about to throw out. Why not put it on the grass and play rock, paper, scissors?

What I’m seeing recently is that people are starting to wake up from being on their phones or really at least social media. What’s more interesting though is that we’re waking up all at the same time. Idk maybe it’s cuz we’re getting bored of our phones. Maybe we’re getting bored of scrolling? Maybe seeing the same shit just done a little differently is making us numb to the interaction on our devices. Maybe our bodies are finally reacting to the strain of our heads down and arms closed together for so long. Maybe we’re longing for real human connection again. Maybe we’re finally seeing that what matters more; is what’s in front of us and not in our pockets.
